Summary by Archive
SummaryIt is an imperial order issued in response to the complaint of Hacı Mustafa, a janissary residing in Çeşme. Çesme Fortress soldiers (mustahfizan) loaded 300 kilos of wheat and 400 kilos of barley, which they collected as tax from the timar village called Dağ Arası, on Hacı Mustafa's boat to transport them. But later, Osman Ağa, the dizdar of the Çeşme Fortress, appeared and demanded the price of the grain on the boat from Hacı Mustafa and threatened him.
