Summary | It is an imperial order issued in response to the petition of Mehmed Reis and a Janissary called Yelkenci Mehmed, both captains of Istanbul kapan ships. They sailed to İbrail for commercial reasons and dropped anchor at the port of İsmail Geçidi where they were accused by a certain Abdullah of murdering his brother, Mehmed b. Ali. The supreme court at Istanbul ruled in favor of the captains. |
